Sussex Nanny Register Ltd is a childcare agency specialising mainly in home-based childcare, covering the whole of East & West Sussex. We are dedicated to finding professional childcarers for our Clients and committed to finding suitable positions in which our Childcarers can utilise their expertise. All Consultants within the Agency are qualified Nannies and/or parents, so we understand both points of view!

We provide nannies, maternity nurses, doulas, mother's helps and Babysitters, catering for most people's requirements. There are temporary and permanent, residential or live-out staff on our books, and we also supply nannies for weddings, conferences, etc. Please ask!

All carers are personally interviewed when we spend time getting to know them, their skills, personalities and experience. Each will need to produce original documents to show ID, their driving license, car insurance, qualification certificates and a CV. References are thoroughly checked, both in writing and verbally. All will also have an Enhanced CRB Disclosure within the past year.

Clients contacting us are under no obligation and we are happy to discuss individual circumstances to see if we can help. Having got a clear picture of the family situation, and answered any questions, we would offer advice on the kind of childcare most appropriate and have some idea of the personality that would best suit, too. We also discuss and help to create a suitable package offered to the carer. Should the client wish to proceed, some candidates would be selected and interviews arranged. Information is available on how best to conduct interviews, providing questions if required and specimen contracts. It is also important to know how to create and maintain a good nanny/employer relationship.

A fee is only charged when a client begins employing a person introduced by our agency. There is no obligation until this time.
