Nanny Domestic Chores

While it’s automatically assumed that au pairs will do some/all of the housework, nannies are foremostly employed to take care of children. It is important for you, at application level, to specify just how many domestic chores you are willing to do. Keeping your bedroom, bathroom, playroom and the nursery/children’s room tidy should be expected. The children’s ironing is also often required. If they have a cleaner then you’re probably off the hook. The best way of making life easy for everyone is to have your work clearly outlined from day one.
