The Good Nanny Agency Guide only recommends nanny agencies that have signed an agreement stating that their agency conforms to the strict standards as laid out in our Code of Practice – focusing on child welfare, professional standards and nanny welfare. We are not however in a position to carry out in-depth checks on each agency and are placing good faith on the agency’s honesty when they sign our agreement form.

While the agencies should ensure that all of their nannies have had an Enhanced CRB Check, as a parent you must ask to see a copy of this documentation yourself. It should also be noted that we have no guarantee that agency employees have had an Enhanced CRB Check themselves.

We can take no responsibility for any loss or damage resultant of our recommendation.
